Frame tips
[Introduction to MISSU21 glasses/sunglasses frame material]
There are hundreds of materials for frames!
Metal, sheet metal, titanium, don’t know which one is most suitable for you?
How to choose the material that suits you when visiting an optical store is also a matter of knowledge.
The editor will take you to know the frame material of KlassiC. today!
Alloy glasses/sunglasses
Common alloy materials include white copper, manganese nickel, high nickel, nickel copper, etc. Different alloy materials have slight differences in strength and corrosion resistance. In addition to good ductility and strength, it is also friction-resistant, not easy to fade, and easy to adjust the frame. But the disadvantage is that it has weak tensile strength, and due to the humid environment in Taiwan, it needs to be well maintained to avoid rust.
The MISSU21 uses nickel-copper alloy. Through the electroplating process, it can perfectly present various special colors. We can perfectly present even the brown frames that are relatively rare in other brands.
Tips: Do not bring alloy frames into the bathroom or wear them during exercise to increase their service life.
Titanium glasses/sunglasses
Titanium metal is an advanced frame material. It is extremely light and only about half the weight of copper and nickel. Its high strength and excellent mechanical and physical properties make titanium metal 3 times stronger than aluminum and 2 times stronger than iron. It is not easy to break or scratch. More safe and durable. In addition, it is corrosion-resistant and has strong adhesion to the electroplating layer, so it is not easy to fade and is less likely to cause allergies.
Through mature and advanced processing technology, MISSU21 uses precision titanium alloy technology to apply the design of "β titanium" and "pure titanium" to the overall frame. The parts that are prone to stress (mirrors) are made of pure titanium and are easy to stretch. Beta titanium is used for the frame (lens), which makes up for the shortcomings of previous titanium frames and further strengthens the advantages, making titanium no longer only available in the sky and under the sea, but an essential daily accessory close to our eyes.
Small reminder: Since the frame is very light, it is easy to accidentally overlook it. You still need to store your glasses properly after use!
Sheet glasses/sunglasses
The panels are made from natural plant fibers and added with acetic acid. Because they look very similar to plastic, they are often confused. Sheet frames do not irritate the skin and reduce allergies. They have high strength, good toughness, good elasticity, and are not easy to fade or break. The luster can be restored by polishing to remove traces of use.
The board used by MISSU21 is Acetate acetate fiber board. Because it is easy to dye and has high light transmittance, the board shows a better state! And because of its high plasticity, it can be adjusted through heating so that the frame can be adjusted to fit the user's face shape.
Small reminder: Because it is made from plant fiber, it will absorb moisture when exposed to the air for a long time, so you need to return the frame to the store for maintenance and adjustment after wearing it for a while!
TR90 glasses/sunglasses
TR90 is also called super elastic memory resin. Due to its good elasticity and special memory function, it can return to its original shape after bending. It is lightweight, strong in toughness, and not easy to deform and break.
MISSU21's TR90 frames not only eliminate the shortcomings of plastic frames, but also strengthen the nose pad design of some frames, making the overall texture light and comfortable to wear.
Tip: Do not use solvents such as alcohol to wipe during maintenance
Composite glasses/sunglasses
Composite material is a frame mainly made of sheets and alloys. There are plastic temples with metal mirrors or metal temples with plastic frames. The price and performance mainly depend on the quality of the matching materials.
The composite material used in MISSU21 is sheet material, which does not irritate the skin and reduces allergies. It has high strength, good toughness and good elasticity. In addition, the metal used is nickel-copper alloy, so the frame also inherits the ductility, high strength and durability of the alloy. Friction-resistant and not easy to fade.
Tips: Try not to bring composite frames into the bathroom when taking a shower to avoid the frames absorbing too much water vapor and causing moisture.
Plastic glasses/sunglasses
Plastic pellets are melted and then injected into the mold, which is directly injection molded from the steel mold. It is mainly used for rapid and large-scale production. The advantages are that the material is cheap, has a bright surface, has a certain degree of flexibility, and is widely consumed with its changeable shapes. People like it.
The disadvantages are that it is easily deformed when exposed to heat, is not strong enough, is easily dyed and fades, and the details cannot be polished and trimmed, making it rough. Since it cannot be adjusted for different face shapes, people with lower nose bridges may easily slip off.
Commonly found in hypermarkets, gas stations, fast fashion brands, etc.
Facing the slightly humid and cold weather, everyone should take better care of their glasses!
Glasses should be cleaned regularly, the room should be dehumidified frequently, and the frames should not be placed in the bathroom.
Only in this way can your glasses be durable and long-lasting!
